IRDS (Samaj) is a non-governmental, non-profit making social organization which works to uplift the living status of the women, Dalit, indigenous, children and other discriminated people of rural community and improve their socio-economic and health condition by proper mobilization of local resources with community participation. It was legally registered as a NGO in Jun1994 at District Administration Office, Mahottari, Nepal and affiliated with Social Welfare Council.

Not only direct participation of beneficiaries group but leadership also should be made in the development procedure like selection, designing, budgeting, implementation and evaluation of program.
Skill of leadership should be made concrete by strengthening the community and their civil organization.
Lower cast, women and disabled should be made participated in the development procedures to help them to build a skill of leadership.
Approaching for sustainable development by utilizing natural and local community resources.
Quick, Cheap and Quality services should be provided for the general people.

Create public awareness against social injustice, crime, discrimination and advocacy for their right.
Run Saving/Credit and rural banking program.
